Monya Elgart, O.D.

Dr. Monya Elgart is a native of Old Saybrook and Old Lyme. She is an alumnus of Lyme-Old Lyme High School and received her degree from New England College of Optometry in Boston. Dr. Monya (as she is called) is certified in Advanced Ocular Therapeutics and a member of the American Optometric Association, the Connecticut Association of Optometrists, the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and she has been practicing optometry for 20 years. Monya is very good at combining fun with her practice, and her eye exams usually involve a lot of laughter. She resides in Killingworth with her husband Richard and her dogs, Coco and Doc.
